Creative Resource Manager



Job Description:

Shift7 Digital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented resourcing manager to partner with creative project managers and functional leads to assign sufficient and suitable resources to projects, balance workloads, and resolve resource conflicts across a large creative team.

As the Creative Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the creative team is efficiently and effectively deployed on projects, maximizing productivity and meeting project deadlines. This dynamic role requires a strong blend of organizational skills, project management expertise, and an understanding of the creative process.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, creative leaders, and other stakeholders to assess project requirements, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Allocate and schedule team members based on their skills, availability, and project requirements.
  • Monitor and balance workloads to ensure optimal resource utilization and prevent burnout.
  • Anticipate and plan for future resource needs based on upcoming projects and business goals.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes and workflows to improve the overall productivity and effectiveness of the creative team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve resource conflicts and bottlenecks.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize resource management tools, software, and systems to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on resource allocation, utilization, and project performance.
  • Analyze data and provide insights to inform decision-making, resource planning, and process improvement.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations for senior leaders to highlight key metrics, trends, and areas of opportunity.
  • Foster strong working relationships with creative team members, project managers, and stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities.



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., marketing, communications, project management)
  • 5+ years of proven experience in resource management field within a creative agency.
  • Strong understanding of creative processes, including design, copywriting, production, video, and digital media.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management software, resource planning tools, and workflow management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identify and addressing challenges.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
